Eau Gallie to Jensen Beach (home)

Today will be our last day on the waterway for a couple of weeks. We are stopping off at our working marina in Jensen Beach to do a little yearly maintenance and complete some warranty items with the guys at Kadey-Krogen. We are very glad we pushed through the last few days because some nasty weather is expected tomorrow and we really don't want to be out on the water for that. It is very gray, but nice and warm (70 deg) even at 7:30 am. We see occasional patches f sunlight but the clouds thicken as the day progresses.

We make our way passed Vero Beach, where clearly the "beautiful" people live. The houses are enormous and the boats at their private docks are as well.

I particularly liked this place --it has it all --- lots of room, a private beach, a deep water boat dock, and even a pool....what more could anyone need? Can I move in?

The weather has also cleared up for a while this afternoon. The sun is poking through more consistently, and it is nice and warm.....

At the end of the day, we came in to Jensen Beach where we will be staying on the boat for a couple of weeks while we do some "stuff" that needs to be done. We are very happy to be here and feel much like we are "home" for a little while. This is where we spent a good 2 months last spring commissioning the boat, so we are very comfortable here. In a couple of weeks, we will move on to explore more of the cool places in Florida we haven't yet had the chance to experience. Until then, we putter and plan the next series of adventures.... see you again soon....
